Where did you grow up?
I spent most of my childhood in north Queensland where I spent countless hours at the beach.
What is your favourite book?
I love so many books. Ones filled with mythical creatures and fantastical places along with a good dose of romance.
Where do you get your story ideas?
Sometimes a character pops into my mind, fully formed and I wonder what kind of story they have. At other times, an interesting situation occurs to me and I wonder what type of characters would find themselves in that situation. And sometimes, ideas come to me while I sleep, filling my dreams with stories that I can’t wait to write.
What do you do when you’re not writing?
I love to read and spend time with my family, particularly my partner. We love cooking meals together and, when we get the chance, we enjoy a trip to the beach where we can stroll along the sand as the water laps our feet while the sun sets, filling the sky with colour.
